FOUR book­maker’s have now been hit in Peter­bor­ough in just one months.

Both Lad­brokes and Co­ral have been hit twice and po­lice say book­ies are of­ten seen as easy tar­gets as it is as­sumed they keep a cash on site.

The first in­ci­dent saw a man armed with a knife rob Lad­brokes, in Four Chim­neys Cres­cent, Hampton Vale, on May .

Armed raiders struck Lad­brokes in Whit­more Road, Whit­tle­sey on June 2. The two rob­bers threat­ened staff at 8pm with a knife and what was be­lieved to be a hand­gun and made off with sev­eral hun­dred pounds in cash,

A man also grabbed some cash straight from a till and fled the scene at the Co­ral book­maker’s in East­field Road, Peter­bor­ough on June 4.
