A SAFETY bus will be rolling into the East of England Showground in Peterborough to educate children about avoiding hazards in the home, roads and railways.

The LV= Streetwise Safety Bus Roadshow will be an attraction during the East of England Show organised by the East of England Agricultural Society from June 18 to 20.

Its aim is to help teach children, aged from five to 11, about safety in the home, on the roads and on the railways.

The converted bendy bus includes a life-sized kitchen, lounge area and rail hazard simulators and gives children the chance to become ‘danger detectives’ and point out potential accident hotspots.

It has been designed by safety experts to help educate children about the risk of accidents and make them more aware of everyday dangers in the world around them by showing children dangerous scenarios in a realistic setting.

The bus roadshow is the first of its kind to tour around the UK.
