Open evening success

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - News -

FROM free pancakes from the catering students to make-up demonstrations, a college’s open evening had something for everyone to entice them onto a course.

More than 600 people went to Peterborough Regional College’s (PRC) open evening on Wednesday all looking at courses starting in September.

PRC’s new part-time guide was also launched at the event held at the college’s campus in Park Crescent.

A spokeswoman for PRC said: “This was the last open day of the academic year and we are extremely pleased with the amount of people who took the time to come out and see us.

“It was an extra busy event as it was the first time the new part- time guide for September was being handed out.

“Although this was our last formal open day for this academic year, our Information Centre is open throughout the summer and will be able to provide customers with course information and taking applications for courses starting this September.”

There was also a minibus taking visitors from the main site to the Media and Journalism Centre for prospective students to tour the new centre.
