Live music events at popular bar
YOU can enjoy a relaxing afternoon at one of the upcoming Summer Sunday events being held at a popular Peterborough bar. With the largest beer garden in the city, Charters, off Town Bridge, is making use of the space to put on some of the city’s best bands.
Bar manager, Hugh Sherwood, said: “Following on from the huge success of last year’s live music events we decided we would like to offer the people of Peterborough a warm and friendly environment in which to relax and enjoy some free entertainment.”
Shows include The Houndogs on June 27; Children of the Revolution on July 4; Ian Parker on July 18 and Groove Cartel on July 25.
Just Dogs Live will incorporate the East of England Championship Dog Show, and will include the traditional Crufts qualifier showing classes.
The show will also feature additional attractions, including demonstrations and competitions to ensure the event is a great day out for all dog lovers, young and old.
It takes place from July 9 to 11, and will feature around 200 breeds of dogs.
There will be many displays demonstrating how dogs can help us humans in so many different ways, including the staff and dogs from HMP Whitemoor, who will once again wow the crowds with their displays.
Essex Dog Display Team will be sure to keep visitors entertained with their action-packed display and Canine Partners will be highlighting their work training assistance dogs.
