LOOKING to expand, problems with cash flow, need to take on more employees or you have a poor credit history?

Whatever your business’s current financial situation, there are funding streams out there to help you move to the next level.

Help is at hand from “dragons” who like to say yes at a business finance seminar being hosted by the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, June 23, midday to 2pm, at the Ramada hotel, Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough. The cost is £20 (Chamber members) or £25 (non-Chamber members), and includes a buffet lunch.

Using a selection of typical business scenarios, this seminar will see four “contestants” bid for funding Dragons’ Den style, with the panel consisting of finance experts from Business Link East, EEDA, NWES and NatWest/RBS, all desperate to utter those infamous words, “I’m in!”

Businesses are invited to join in and cast their vote and discover which contestant should go to which organisation for their required funding, and what support they could expect to receive.

Steve Branney, director of at NatWest, said: “We are open for business and this seminar gives us a great opportunity to sit down with local businesses and give them guidance on how to structure their finance.”
