Is your council affected by cuts?
• Just over £7million was taken from Lincolnshire County Council’s £54million ABG.
• District Councils have avoided major cuts, with South Holland having its ABG cut by £60,000, the same as South Kesteven. Huntingdonshire has an even smaller cut at £20,000, while Fenland’s cuts are £80,000. East Northamptonshire has no cuts at all. • The Area Based Grant (ABG) is additional funding given to authorities to spend where investment is needed.
• Peterborough City Council was set to receive a £15.7million ABG, of which £3million has now been cut by the Government.
• Cambridgeshire County Council has had £5.3million cut from its ABG grant of £33.8million.
