Pirates give treasure to charity
YOUNG pirates set sail on the Jolly Toddle through Market Deeping to raise cash for charity.
Around 50 children from the Treetops Day Nursery dressed up as naval renegades for the day to embark on Barnardo’s Toddle Waddle.
The children’s charity’s sponsored walk for tots had a pirate theme this year and the youngsters enjoyed dressing up and playing in their own pirate ship - the Jolly Toddle.
They walked through the centre of the town before heading back to search for hidden treasure at the nursery in Bridge Street.
Nursery deputy manager Gloria Sparrow said: “It was a fantastic day.
“All the children had a great time and they loved being pirates and had a pirate ship and everything.”
