The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Comment -

IT is understandable that Christine Bonner has never forgotten her soldier son who lost his life while serving in Afghanistan three years ago.

But it is to her enormous credit the loss of Darren, a corporal who was killed in a landmine explosion, has spurred her on to helping others injured in conflict.

Her All The 4s charity has proved beneficial to so many people already, raising more than £70,000 through charity walks.

Next month she will embark on a mammoth walk with 12 men who served with Darren in Afghanistan to raise even more,

Poignantly, the walk will start in Peterborough with a visit to the memorial to city two soldiers who died in North Ireland during the conflict there.

We wish them well in the fundraising venture.
