Cabbies to drive Eng­land suc­cess

A GEN­ER­OUS cab firm is hop­ing Eng­land strik­ers can help them give char­ity a wel­come boost.

The gen­eral man­ager at Peter­bor­ough Cars, Shabir Ahmed, said he hoped to send a mes­sage to Eng­land boss Fabio Capello to en­cour­age his World Cup hope­fuls to score as many goals as pos­si­ble – as each ball that hits the net means £10 from the firm for char­ity

He said: “We want to raise as much money as we can for Sue Ry­der Care, so come on Eng­land.”

The firm has pledged £10 for each goal and if Eng­land hit the semis an­other £50 and £100 for reach­ing the fi­nal and ev­ery driver will give £1 for each goal.
