Cabbies to drive England success
A GENEROUS cab firm is hoping England strikers can help them give charity a welcome boost.
The general manager at Peterborough Cars, Shabir Ahmed, said he hoped to send a message to England boss Fabio Capello to encourage his World Cup hopefuls to score as many goals as possible – as each ball that hits the net means £10 from the firm for charity
He said: “We want to raise as much money as we can for Sue Ryder Care, so come on England.”
The firm has pledged £10 for each goal and if England hit the semis another £50 and £100 for reaching the final and every driver will give £1 for each goal.
