Spate of car break-ins in city street

CROOKS broke into three cars in a city street in one night.

The thefts all hap­pened in Stags­den, Or­ton Gold­hay, Peter­bor­ough on June 10.

The first car to be tar­geted, be­tween 8.30pm and 5.50am the next day, was a Vaux­hall As­tra. Thieves searched the glove­box and left items strewn over the floor.

At 10.30pm, items were stolen from a Vaux­hall As­tra es­tate in the street. The boot and glove­box were ri­fled through.

Also, around 10.30pm the same night, crooks forced open the door of a BMW and opened the glove­box, be­fore pulling the items onto the pas­sen­ger seat. Noth­ing was stolen. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion should call po­lice on 0345 4564564.
