Police arrest fourth man in connection to shooting
A FOURTH man has been arrested in connection with a doorstep shooting in Godmanchester.
Police arrested a 24-year-old man from Wellingborough yesterday in connection with the shooting in Anderson Crescent at 9.30pm on June 1.
They spent the day questioning him at Huntingdon Police Station.
A 41-year-old man was seriously injured after being shot in the groin when he answered the door of his friend’s house.
A 47-year-old man from Peterborough, who was arrested on Friday in relation to the shooting, has been released on bail until July 27.
The other two men who have been arrested by police have been charged with aggravated burglary and wounding with intent.
They are Martin Hunt (56), from Dowthorpe End, Earls Barton, and Travis Pratt (28) from Station Road, Earls Barton.
