Rail gift for dads
SONS and daughters across the country are invited to treat their dads to a ride on a miniature railway.
Children from Peterborough and Lincolnshire who want to give their dads a special treat this Father’s Day – this Sunday – will be able to take them for a free ride on a miniature train.
The miniature railway at Crowland Garden Centre on the B1166 Postland Road, just off the A1073, will be running on Sunday from 11am until 4pm.
Any dads who are accompanied by their children will be offered a free ride.
Manager of the store, Sanjay Bowry said: “We wanted to do something special for dads on Father’s Day, so we thought it would be a great idea to give them the chance to ride on our miniature railway for free.
“The railway is very popular with visitors of all ages, but it is always a favourite with dads. We hope that lots of people will join us to celebrate Father’s Day.”
Fathers who visit the miniature railway at Crowland Garden Centre on Sunday, accompanied by their children will receive a free ride on the railway.
Children will need to pay for their ride.
All other rides on the train cost £1 per adult or child.
Rides are weather dependent.
