Locations in History of Ancient Britain
DOVER Boat - the Bronze Age boat at Dover is one of the few to be found in Britain. It dates to between 1575 and 1520BC. The boat was made using oak planks sewn together with yew lashings.
Natural History Museum - a variety of artefacts from ancient Britain will be examined.
Stonehenge - located in Wiltshire, on Salisbury Plain, the structure of earthworks and a circle of standing stones is thought to date back to 3100BC. Stones were brought from all over Britain by people to create the henge, thought to be used for worship, burials and predicting the lunar and solar cycles.
