Trib­utes to teen killed in car crash

FLOW­ERS and heart­felt trib­utes have been laid out­side the school of a teenage girl who died in a car crash last week.

The poignant and colour­ful trib­utes to teenager Beth Mark­wick, who was trag­i­cally killed last Thurs­day, were placed at The Deep­ings School in me­mory of the much-loved pupil.

The trib­utes even in­cluded a Chelsea shirt with the num­ber 8 and Mark­wick em­bla­zoned on the back.

Pop­u­lar Beth, who lived in Wood­croft, Mar­ket Deep­ing, was just four weeks short of her 16th birth­day when her life was cut cru­elly short af­ter the car she was trav­el­ling in over­turned.

Beth trag­i­cally died at the scene, near the Maxey round­about on the A15, south of Mar­ket Deep­ing. Since her death, her Face­book site has been flooded with mes­sages and a trib­ute group set up in her me­mory.

Beth’s fu­neral is set to take place on Wed­nes­day at Peter­bor­ough Cre­ma­to­rium.
