Tributes to teen killed in car crash
FLOWERS and heartfelt tributes have been laid outside the school of a teenage girl who died in a car crash last week.
The poignant and colourful tributes to teenager Beth Markwick, who was tragically killed last Thursday, were placed at The Deepings School in memory of the much-loved pupil.
The tributes even included a Chelsea shirt with the number 8 and Markwick emblazoned on the back.
Popular Beth, who lived in Woodcroft, Market Deeping, was just four weeks short of her 16th birthday when her life was cut cruelly short after the car she was travelling in overturned.
Beth tragically died at the scene, near the Maxey roundabout on the A15, south of Market Deeping. Since her death, her Facebook site has been flooded with messages and a tribute group set up in her memory.
Beth’s funeral is set to take place on Wednesday at Peterborough Crematorium.
