Res­i­dents to help po­lice set pri­or­i­ties at panel meet­ing

RES­I­DENTS will be given the chance to the set the pri­or­i­ties they want po­lice to tackle dur­ing a panel meet­ing next month.

The Peter­bor­ough South Team West will be hold­ing its neigh­bour­hood meet­ing on July 7, at Or­ton Wis­tow Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, in Napier Place, from 6pm.

Dur­ing the meet­ing, po­lice will give an update on the three pri­or­i­ties which were set at the last meet­ing held in April 7.

These were: nui­sance mo­tor­cy­clists, in­clud­ing mini mo­tos, graf­fiti through­out the Or­tons and also bin fires in the area.

Res­i­dents will then be able to take part in a dis­cus­sion which will even­tu­ally lead to the new pri­or­i­ties for the area be­ing set.

How­ever, views and con­cerns can also be expressed on other polic­ing mat­ters dur­ing the meet­ing.
