Wright time to quit?

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - NEWS -

How unfortunate can a cricketer be . . .

Neil wright, part-time bowler for Castor and Ailsworth on a Saturday and CAMRA Cricket Club on a Sunday, has sadly found out he has a leather allergy.

Neil fielded for 85 overs at the weekend over two games, and while chasing leather for a total of 571 runs he managed to shell not one, not two, but three costly catches - all three batsmen went on to score 50 or more!

Following his tea on Saturday, he suffered swelling to the whole of his body, though nobody actually noticed.

He blamed it on dodgy ham, but his team-mates believe it was a sign from up above telling him to give up!
