Farewell to much-loved paramedic

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Uk&world Update -

AN “EXCEPTIONAL” paramedic who helped save lives across Peterborough for nearly 2 years was given a guard of honour at his funeral yesterday.

Hundreds of colleagues, friends and family flanked the coffin and then packed into Peterborough Crematorium to say goodbye to dedicated Brian Older (6 ), who died after a brave 10-month fight against cancer.

Mr Older, of Milton Road, Fletton, served with the East of England Ambulance Service using his medical skills at road crashes and other emergencies to treat casualties.

He leaves behind wife Maggie (62), two daughters, Amanda and Catherine, stepson Glen Baker and eight grandchildren.
