NINE schools in Peter­bor­ough are to be awarded for their work to cater for the needs of all their chil­dren.

The In­clu­sion Char­ter Mark will be pre­sented at a cer­e­mony at Wil­liam Law Pri­mary School, Twel­ve­tree Av­enue, Wer­ring­ton, Peter­bor­ough, on July 1. Peter­bor­ough City Coun­cil launched the In­clu­sion Char­ter Mark award four years ago to recog­nise and cel­e­brate schools that pro­vide high qual­ity flex- ible, spe­cial­ist ed­u­ca­tional op­por­tu­ni­ties to meet the needs of all their pupils. Eyre­scroft Pri­mary School and All Saints Ju­nior School are the lat­est to achieve the char­ter mark. Dogsthorpe Ju­nior School, Mid­dle­ton Pri­mary School, Nor­wood Pri­mary School, Or­ton Wis­tow Pri­mary School, Parn­well Pri­mary School, West Town Pri­mary and Wil­liam Law Pri­mary will be re-ac­cred­ited af­ter re­ceiv­ing the award in 2007.
