Grey’s Anatomy (Five, 10.55pm)

We’re already more than half way through series four of the medical drama, and the action’s showing no sign of slowing. But what is it that makes this tale of doctors and nurses so successful? Whether it’s down to the effortlessly sexy Patrick Dempsey in a starring role or the hard-hitting close-to-the-bone storylines, the fans aren’t complaining. In this episode, the admission of a faith healer unsettles some of the staff, who are disturbed that patients are refusing to have surgery, instead opting to be healed by unconventional means. Meanwhile, Bailey gets a shock when husbandTucker rushes into ER with their unconscious son, resulting in all manner of arguments.

The Chase (ITV1, 5pm)

Bradley Walsh presents as four contestants pit their wits against ruthless quiz genius the Chaser in the hope of winning a potential prize pot worth thousands of pounds. They must work as a team and play strategically to answer general knowledge questions against the clock and race down the game board to the exit without being caught.
