Posh shirts up for auction
POSH fans have a once in a lifetime chance to own a bit of the football club’s history.
Two shirts signed by Peterborough United star Dominic Green are being auctioned off by Peterborough-based charity the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (ASBAH).
A spokesman from the charity said: “The midfield maestro signed for Peterborough United from Dagenham & Redbridge for an undisclosed fee thought to be around the £200,000 mark on August 27, 2008 and Green is expected to be a leading light in the forthcoming 2010/11 season.
“The collectable shirts boast the ASBAH logo on the front and all proceeds will go direct to the local charity to help maintain essential services to children, families and individuals in the nearby area.”
