Stirling ef­fort to se­cure county coun­cil con­tract

CITY con­struc­tion con­sul­tancy Stirling May­nard has been ap­pointed as civil and struc­tural en­gi­neers to the Suf­folk County Coun­cil Pro­fes­sional Prop­erty Ser­vices Frame­work, which runs for the next four years.

Man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Gavin Duff will be re­spon­si­ble for the man­age­ment of the frame­work which cov­ers the county coun­cil’s ex­ten­sive prop­erty ser­vices port­fo­lio, with an em­pha­sis on the de­liv­ery of sus­tain­able ed­u­ca­tion projects.

The project value 2010 to 2014 for Lot 3 of the frame­work, which in­cludes civil and struc­tural en­gi­neer­ing works, is £19.25 mil­lion.

Stirling May­nard has been very ac­tive in the pub­lic sec­tor hav­ing re­cently de­liv­ered key ed­u­ca­tion, prop­erty and pub­lic realm fa­cil­i­ties in Peter­bor­ough, in­clud­ing the Corn Ex­change project, Thur­rock, Nor­wich and New­port.

It is seek­ing to con­tinue and build upon this suc­cess by the devel­op­ment of new and ex­ist­ing lo­cal author­ity re­la­tion­ships.
