Stirling effort to secure county council contract
CITY construction consultancy Stirling Maynard has been appointed as civil and structural engineers to the Suffolk County Council Professional Property Services Framework, which runs for the next four years.
Managing director Gavin Duff will be responsible for the management of the framework which covers the county council’s extensive property services portfolio, with an emphasis on the delivery of sustainable education projects.
The project value 2010 to 2014 for Lot 3 of the framework, which includes civil and structural engineering works, is £19.25 million.
Stirling Maynard has been very active in the public sector having recently delivered key education, property and public realm facilities in Peterborough, including the Corn Exchange project, Thurrock, Norwich and Newport.
It is seeking to continue and build upon this success by the development of new and existing local authority relationships.
