Queensgate ads to support local business
QUEENSGATE shopping centre has launched a new rate card specifically aimed at local businesses.
As part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen commitment to the community, the card will advise firms on what types of advertising best suits their needs, at the most favourable rates. Dedicated promotional areas and specialist advertising plans have been identified, to give local enterprises the opportunity to promote their products or services alongside national brands.
Richardson’s Cycles, a local bicycle retailer and wholesaler in Queensgate, has benefited significantly from the centre’s support.
Director Richard Angur said: “The support that Queensgate has given to Richardson’s Cycles has been tremendous. We have benefited from the use of a vacant unit at very competitive rates which has given us an opportunity we would never have otherwise been able to afford. The exposure to our brand has been invaluable both in sales and for driving traffic to our website.”
Mr Angur added that he “would not hesitate to recommend Queensgate to other local businesses.”
Queensgate has long been committed to the success of local businesses in Peterborough and the surrounding area.
Situated in the heart of the city, the majority of its regular shoppers live within a 30-mile drive of the centre and many visit at least once a week, which is much higher than the national shopping centre average.
