Man in hospital after knife attack in street
A MAN needed hospital treatment after he was stabbed three times with a knife in an attack in Spalding.
Police on patrol in Spring Gardens found a 22-year-old local man bleeding from the knife wounds at 12.30am yesterday.
The man, who police believe is originally from Poland, was treated at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, for his wounds, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokeswoman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We have not been able to speak to the man at length but it appears he has been assaulted by up to three men, possibly in the Bedford Place area.
“We would urge anyone who saw the men or heard an argument in that area to call us.”
