Enjoy some pampering and help Leo to walk

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - News -

THE mum of a four-year-old boy who needs to raise £40,000 for a life-changing operation is holding a pamper evening.

Leo Waites, who was born with cerebral palsy, needs to fly out to Missouri in America to undergo a four-hour procedure, called selective dorsal rhizotomy.

Leo is currently in a wheelchair, but this operation could allow him to take his first-ever steps so he can eventually play football, go ice skating and enjoy dancing.

His mum, Joanne Holland (23), of Hempsted Road, Hampton, , will hold the event tomorrow, from 7pm, at the South Grove Community Centre, Woodston.

There will be a hairdresser, make up artist, spray tanner, mini massages, facials, manicures and products and gifts to buy. There will also be refreshments.
