CAMP FUN AT THE KEY
AN EXCITING new production, based on the television show Hi-De-Hi!, can be seen at The Key Theatre in Peterborough this week.
Penned by two of the most successful sitcom writers of the 20th century, Jimmy Perry and David Croft, Hi-De-Hi! became an institution to television audiences during its nine series.
In this exciting new production of the stage show, which has not been seen since it was in the West End in 1984, Peter Amory, who is best known for playing Chris Tate in Emmerdale, stars as the Maplin’s Camp manager Jeffrey Fairbrother.
The brilliantly funny Damian William, new presenter of Sky One’s Are You Smarter Than Your Ten Year Old, plays the Camp host Ted Bovis and Barry Howard and Nikki Kelly - two original members of the TV series - also join the cast.
Abigail Finley from the BBC’s How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? stars as Peggy Ollerenshaw.
If you haven’t seen the show yet, don’t worry because tickets are still available for tonight, tomorrow and Saturday.
