Harry Wells has been nominated in the outstanding sporting achievement category for excellence in not just one sport, but two.

Harry (16) from Walton was nominated by Wendy Forman.

She said: “After qualifying for the Under 16 England International Rugby squad, Harry was capped three times.

“He also competes at two different age levels for Nene Valley Harriers Athletics Club and has just smashed the senior men’s hammer record.

“This means he now holds three records within the club for the hammer - under 15, under 17 and senior men.

“He is also about to join Leicester Tigers Rugby Academy and has been contracted for two years. All this has been achieved whilst studying for his GCSEs and keeping his grades up.”
