Bail for man arrested in stabbing case
A MAN arrested in connection with a stabbing in Spalding has been released on bail.
The 23-year-old from the Spalding area has been bailed until August 20, pending further police inquiries.
He was arrested on suspicion of wounding in connection with an incident on June 22, when a 22- year-old man was found bleeding in Spring Gardens, Spalding.
Police found the man at around 12.30am on Tuesday while on patrol. He had knife wounds and was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, in Boston, for treatment.
The wounds are not thought to be life-threatening. Police have not been able to speak to the man at length yet, but they believe he may have been assaulted by up to three men, possibly in the Bedford Place area of Spalding.
