Fun-packed day down on the farm
A DAY packed full of family fun can be enjoyed at Willowbrook Farm at Helpston Heath this Sunday.
The event kicks off at 9am and finishes at 4pm and promises to offer something to suit people of all ages.
There will be displays of vintage farm machinery and classic cars, as well as the chance to see some heavy horses in action.
Demonstrations showing visitors how to make pork pies and decorate cakes will also take place, as well as a performance by a group of line dancers.
Free family trailer rides will be ongoing throughout the day around the farm and a hot air balloon will be flying above the farm at various times of the day too.
Stalls selling crafts and local produce will also have their place at the event – and anyone who buys fresh meat from the Willowbrook Farm Shop on the day will get 10 per cent off.
This is the fourth year Willowbrook Farm has held the open day and owner Rosemary Morton said: “This is a golden opportunity for the public to see how and where their food is produced. There will be plenty for people of all ages to enjoy and all proceeds raised on the day will be given to Sue Ryder Care.”
Admission to the event costs £2 per car.
