New area manager for Barclays Local Business team
BARCLAYS Local Business has appointed Stewart O’Dell as its new area manager in West Anglia.
Stewart is well known in the local business community and has worked for Barclays for 30 years, having gained a wealth of experience in business banking.
He is responsible for a team of 20 local business managers in the West Anglia area who aim to champion small and medium-sized companies by providing extensive localised knowledge and award-winning services to help people start up and grow a business.
Stewart said: “I am delighted to be moving into this role which provides me with an opportunity to work within an organisation that truly wants to help local businesses. I am looking forward to supporting my team and helping customers achieve their ambitions”.
He added: “One of the great events I am looking forward to being involved in this year is the Barclays Trading Places Awards. This is where we invite people to nominate themselves or someone they know who deserves national recognition for overcoming major adversity by setting up and running a successful business.
“With just two weeks left, I would encourage the most inspirational businessmen and women to enter the awards and open that door to recognition and achievement. It would be great to have a local business from the West Anglia Region in the final”.
