Pupils’ big day at war museum
TECHNOLOGICALLY minded pupils were treated to an exciting afternoon at a war museum.
More than 30 pupils from Ormiston Bushfield Academy spent an afternoon at the Imperial War Museum, in Duxford, as part of a science, technology, engineering and maths day.
Product design teacher at the school Andy Greaves said: “Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed themselves and gained much from it.
“All of the projects were very exciting and related and positively impacted on a number of core curriculum areas that we study.”
Pupil Grant Butler (14) said: “I really enjoyed it. It was especially interesting to learn more about circuit boards.”
