New priorities for police to be set at panel by residents
RESIDENTS will be given the chance to the set the priorities they want police to tackle during a panel meeting next month.
The Peterborough South Team West will be holding its neighbourhood meeting on July 7, at Orton Wistow Community Centre, in Napier Place, from 6pm.
During the meeting, police will give an update on the three priorities which were set at the last meeting held in April 7.
These were: nuisance motorcyclists, including mini motos, graffiti throughout the Ortons and also bin fires in the area.
Residents will then be able to take part in a discussion which will eventually lead to the new priorities for the area being set.
However, views and concerns can also be expressed on other policing matters during the meeting.
