Park’s deals for over 60s

SPE­CIAL Wed­nes­days are be­ing in­tro­duced at Hinch­ing­brooke Coun­try Park in Hunt­ing­don.

The park’s café has in­tro­duced the events, which in­vite vis­i­tors over the age of 60 to en­joy a two-course lunch, be­tween noon and 2.30pm, for £6.

Mag­gie O’Hare, café su­per­vi­sor, said: “Spe­cial Wed­nes­days will ap­peal to our older vis­i­tors, many of whom are look­ing for­ward to days out with fam­i­lies through­out the sum­mer hol­i­days.”

The park is man­aged by Hunt­ing­don­shire District Coun­cil’s coun­try­side ser­vices team. Councillor Colin Hyams, re­spon­si­ble for coun­try­side ser­vices, said: “We are very aware of the need to pro­vide a wide range of op­por­tu­ni­ties for ev­ery­one.”
