THE top men in the an­gling world were in Peter­bor­ough for the open­ing of the new head of­fices of the Na­tional An­glers’ Coun­cil. The Earl of Antrim, pres­i­dent of the NAC, and chair­man Jack Baker wel­comed Peter­bor­ough’s mayor, Al­der­man Ted Hall, to the in­for­mal open­ing buf­fet lunch. The NAC, set up at the sug­ges­tion of the Gov­er­ment, rep­re­sented all branches of an­gling.
