Waiting through the generations

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Looking Back -

AS well as recapping on some previously published Chris Porsz pictures, we’ve also got two new ones.

Just for a bit of variety, we’ve got two very contrasting images this week.

The old gentleman with the flowers sitting on Bridge Street has a romantic air to it, doesn’t it?

Was he waiting to meet someone, or just pausing for a rest?

Whatever he was doing, some lucky person was going to receive a lovely bunch of yellow and orange blooms.

That gentleman is obviously of a slightly older generation, so we then have the contrasting, colourful image of a group of punks sitting in Queensgate in the 1980s.

As ever, if you recognise anyone in these photographs, please get in touch.
