Doc­u­men­tary fol­low­ing a team of naval en­gi­neers as they probe the role of hu­man er­ror in the fa­mous dis­as­ter, amid claims that a de­sign flaw was re­spon­si­ble for the ship break­ing up when it hit the ice­berg, and thus sink­ing with such cat­a­strophic speed. By com­par­ing Ti­tanic to her sis­ter ship Bri­tan­nic, which sank in 1916 but is more eas­ily ac­ces­si­ble by divers, it ap­pears own­ers White Star knew of the fault and cov­ered it up at the time of the orig­i­nal in­quiry in 1912.
