THESE chaps would definitely be in breach of modern health and safety rules, walking across the railway lines without a highvisibility vest in sight.
This picture was taken in the 1970s, and you can see the Oundle Road bridge in the distance.
Our second photograph today takes us right back to a very different Cathedral Square.
Today, it has become a haven for youngsters to splash about in the new fountains, but in 1963 the market was clearly held there, and it was yet to be pedestrianised.
