‘I wanted to improve my physique’
Buckle is 19 years old and joined the gym just over a year ago. As a builder who names sports as his hobbies, strength and endurance are his main goals.
He said: “I joined simply because I wanted to improve my physique and become stronger and healthier.
“I concentrate on the weight lifting part of the gym as well as cardio.
A keen football player who also loves a round of golf, Sean has seen the difference it makes to his leisure time.
“I have definitely become a lot stronger and gained weight. It has made me more capable when doing every day jobs as well as when I am playing football.
“It has improved my stamina and even helped me hit the ball further during a round of golf.”
Initially reluctant, Sean now sees working out as an important part of maintaining his health and fitness.
He said: “I wasn’t keen to start with, I certainly used to be like that. However now I have seen and felt the benefits I would say that everyone should do it.
“You need to find the motivation because you will feel a lot better once you start to see the improvements within your body.
“I love being there and knowing that after a workout I will be stronger.”
