Beauty in contest finals
SHE wowed judges to become Miss Peterborough, but now Sarah Stone wants to be the nation’s most beautiful woman.
The 24-year-old blonde has made it to the final of Miss England, beating 20 other girls in the semi-finals. They competed in tests, including an eco-round.
Stunning Sarah, from Boston, showed her green credentials by wearing a dress made of recycled material by students at City College Peterborough, in Brook Street. Now, she will be one of 60 girls vying for the coveted Miss England crown in the final on September 1. For the first time in 22 years, the contest will be screened on TV on The Active Channel, Sky Channel 281.
She said: “Hopefully I can win because it’s the ultimate dream for me. I just want to do Peterborough proud.
