Man arrested over woman’s murder released on bail
A MAN arrested in connection with the murder of a Wisbech woman has been bailed.
Lithuanian factory worker Jolanta Dumciuviene (38) was found dead at her home on Milner Road, in Wisbech, on May 7.
Police made the grim discovery after concerns were raised Miss Dumciuviene’s welfare.
The 26-year-old man, who was arrested on June 24, was questioned over her death until Saturday. However, he has now been released on bail until July 5.
A 23-year-old woman, also arrested on June 24, was released on bail on Friday, also to July 5.
Both are due to answer bail at Thorpe Wood Police Station, in Pe- terborough.
Arlandas Ubartas (44), of Milner Road, Wisbech, has already been charged with Miss Dumciuviene’s murder.
Ubartas, who is also Lithuanian, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on May 18, but did not enter any pleas. He was remanded in custody and his case will be heard again on August 9.
Police are still continuing to appeal for anyone with information about Miss Dumciuviene’s death to contact them.
