Man ar­rested over woman’s murder re­leased on bail

A MAN ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the murder of a Wis­bech woman has been bailed.

Lithua­nian fac­tory worker Jolanta Dum­ci­u­viene (38) was found dead at her home on Mil­ner Road, in Wis­bech, on May 7.

Po­lice made the grim dis­cov­ery af­ter con­cerns were raised Miss Dum­ci­u­viene’s wel­fare.

The 26-year-old man, who was ar­rested on June 24, was ques­tioned over her death un­til Satur­day. How­ever, he has now been re­leased on bail un­til July 5.

A 23-year-old woman, also ar­rested on June 24, was re­leased on bail on Fri­day, also to July 5.

Both are due to an­swer bail at Thorpe Wood Po­lice Sta­tion, in Pe- ter­bor­ough.

Ar­lan­das Ubar­tas (44), of Mil­ner Road, Wis­bech, has al­ready been charged with Miss Dum­ci­u­viene’s murder.

Ubar­tas, who is also Lithua­nian, ap­peared at Cam­bridge Crown Court on May 18, but did not en­ter any pleas. He was re­manded in cus­tody and his case will be heard again on Au­gust 9.

Po­lice are still con­tin­u­ing to ap­peal for any­one with in­for­ma­tion about Miss Dum­ci­u­viene’s death to con­tact them.
