Last chance to nom­i­nate for awards

TIME is run­ning out for our read­ers to nom­i­nate pupils and staff mem­bers for the ET’s 10th an­nual Ed­u­ca­tion Awards – so get nom­i­nat­ing now!

The dead­line for all nom­i­na­tions to be re­ceived is to­mor­row at 5pm, so if there is some­one in ed­u­ca­tion in the city you feel de­serves pub­lic recog­ni­tion for their work or achieve­ment, please sub­mit your as soon as pos­si­ble.

We are look­ing for nom­i­na­tions cov­er­ing the whole school com­mu­nity, from pupils who have ex­celled in spe­cific ar­eas, to teach­ers and sup­port staff who go the ex­tra mile to pro­vide our chil­dren with a fan­tas­tic ed­u­ca­tion.

Cat­e­gories in­clude the Out­stand­ing Teacher Award, best school or pupil con­tri­bu­tion to the com­mu­nity, and the De­sign and Technology Award, which will go to a pupil or group of pupils who have achieved ex­cel­lence in D&T projects.

Af­ter the dead­line has passed, a short­list will be drawn up and those who have reached this stage will be in­vited to a glit­ter­ing cer­e­mony which will take place at the Key The­atre, Peter­bor­ough on Wed­nes­day, July 14.

As well as the pres­ti­gious ti­tle, the win­ner of each cat­e­gory will take home £250 for their school.
