Lifestyle Living Group makes £10m investment in park site
PETERBOROUGH-based premium holiday and residential park owner Lifestyle Living Group plans to invest £10 million in Haveringland Hall Country Park in Cawston, Norfolk as part of its on-going acquisition plan.
The 120-acre country park boasts fishing lakes and great walks and promises to be another serene, rural location that has become the trademark of Lifestyle Living’s parks. It will serve a dual purpose as a residential and holiday home development.
Lifestyle Living’s owner and chairman Tony Barney, who has big plans for the park, said: “We take parks in beautiful locations like this, which was originally quite a run-down site, and turn them into five-star park locations very quickly. We’re going to transform it into an up-market lodge development, and are looking for similar deals across the country.”
Tony has bought Haveringland Hall Country Park from Green Parcs in a deal worth more than £3.5 million.
“We’re always on the look out for opportunities like this. We offered Green Parcs a very attractive deal, and they accepted. We’re delighted with our new acquisition,” he added.
Haveringland Hall Country Park is set in a stunning forest setting, and has two well-stocked fishing lakes, which attract anglers from all over East Anglia. Residents will also be able to take advantage of the host of other outdoor activities on offer, including sailing, horse riding, cycling and bird-watching. World-class locations are close by, including the Broads and the spectacular North Norfolk coastline,
“Haveringland Hall Country Park will offer customers the opportunity to invest in a luxury second home,” said Tony.
“Cawston enjoys the most sun and the lowest level of rainfall in the whole of the UK and we are going to turn Haveringland Hall Country Park into an unforgettable experience for holidaymakers.”
Lifestyle Living Group will be creating five new jobs at Haveringland Hall Country Park. It is a valuable addition to the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio, which features luxury locations from the Lake District in the north, to Weston-Super-Mare in the west and Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex in the east.
Grant Thornton and Ward Geffin advised Lifestyle Living Group on the deal.
