Coaching sessions to help youngsters improve their football skills
YOUNG football fans in Peterborough will be able to improve their penalty taking and corner kicks at a training session with Peterborough United coaches.
Posh coaches Simon Ryan and Alex Goymour will put youngsters through their paces at the sports pavilion in Beaumont Way, Hampton Hargate, on July 13, from 5pm to 6pm.
The sessions for young people aged eight to 18 have been organised by Hampton youth worker Krissie Moore as part of the Hampton Youth Project run by Peterborough City Council and Family Action.
Football sessions are also held every Tuesday on the artificial pitch between 4pm and 6pm. Youth dropin sessions also take place in the food court at Serpentine Green shopping centre on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm.
At the drop-in young people will be able to play computer games, chill out with friends or speak to Krissie about youth issues in Hampton.
