Web­site to help author pen new book

A HIS­TORY buff has launched his own web­site as he be­gins re­search­ing for a new book.

John Kem­mery (66), of Wal­ton Park, Wal­ton, de­vised the web­site to pro­mote his new book The Jack­daws of Crow­land, which he is sell­ing to raise funds for the Poppy Ap­peal.

Now, he is hop­ing peo­ple will use the site to get in touch with in­for­ma­tion for his new book The Mail­man of Crow­land, which is about Mark Mid­dle­ton, an 1840s Royal Mail driver in Crow­land.

Mr Kem­mery’s in­ter­est in Crow­land be­gan with re­search into his wife Sheila’s maiden name, Lim­ming. He dis­cov­ered her great­great-grand­fa­ther kept the White Horse pub in Crow­land.

So far he has sold more than 150 books, priced £10. To pur­chase a copy, call John on 01733 700516.
