Website to help author pen new book
A HISTORY buff has launched his own website as he begins researching for a new book.
John Kemmery (66), of Walton Park, Walton, devised the website to promote his new book The Jackdaws of Crowland, which he is selling to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
Now, he is hoping people will use the site to get in touch with information for his new book The Mailman of Crowland, which is about Mark Middleton, an 1840s Royal Mail driver in Crowland.
Mr Kemmery’s interest in Crowland began with research into his wife Sheila’s maiden name, Limming. He discovered her greatgreat-grandfather kept the White Horse pub in Crowland.
So far he has sold more than 150 books, priced £10. To purchase a copy, call John on 01733 700516.
