Royal day for ambulance trust worker
A CLINICIAN from the East of England Ambulance Service was invited to a Royal garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Scott Turner, associate director for clinical services, joined other guests at the event last Tuesday, after being nominated to attend by colleague Nick Morton, in recognition of the work he did to improve the trust’s infection control rates last year.
Mr Turner said: “It was a glorious day that gave recognition to many people from all walks of life. We didn’t get introduced to the Queen so did not speak directly to her but the sun shone and two military bands provided background music as the Queen and Prince Philip mingled with guests.”
