POSH POINTS OF VIEW: The fans have their say . . .

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your -

SOMETIMES supporters see players through rose-tinted glasses or they jump on the bandwagon and berate others.

The fact is, Lewis is a professional keeper and has attracted attention from a Premier League club. We should be pleased with that and putting him in the shop window was a good thing to do.

I hope Lewis gets signed by someone and we get a fee for him. We need to move on, we have two good keepers.

I would like to keep two, but given the unwarranted criticism, it is best we say thanks Joe, but time to leave and take your career forward.

Bamboozler HOW can Lewis train and play for QPR reserves, come back to play our league fixture and then spend all of the following week with QPR again?

So the only keeper we have at training is Paul Jones, someone who’s committed by actually signing a contract. How do we prepare our defence if our first choice keeper isn’t here?

They must have to work on defending set peices, which presumably is impossible without our keeper barking out orders and organising his defence, (setting wall, positions for corners etc etc).

It’s a very weird decision and the big rumour is - is Lewis going to be replaced by Ben Amos.

Sangreazul I HOPE Joe moves on as he clearly wants to go.

Gilroy I’VE got everything crossed that this is true. I just can’t see what top clubs would see in Joe Lewis.

Dexter Morgan LEWIS is a good keeper with particular strength at shot-stopping and distribution.

He was a key part of three promotions and should be honoured as for each mistake he made he kept us in twice as many games.

I hope we make some cash from his potential sale.

www.j95me LEWIS is a magnificient shot-stopper, but that’s where it ends.

I’m fed up with hearing him say he wants to go and then when no one wanted him to start negotiating with Posh for a new contract.

I’d let him go in January at any fee or on a free in the summer as we have cover for Paul Jones anyway.

Danhar OH yeah. Lewis deserved to be put in ahead of Paul Jones this season. Jones has been really awful. He let us down in the play-off final, asked to leave wanting a new contract.

No actually Lewis is the biggest let-down. I was once a rare fan of his until the back end of last season.

Ohwhatalife THE only ones who are a disgrace at our club are the fickle sheep-like supporters who have ruined this young keeper’s confidence.

What ability this boy once had. He was called into the England squad because of that potential.

Now we are facing losing him for nothing.

I say please play him Fergie while he is here, if not to put him in the shop window to get some much needed money for our club.

Theposhbly AS a season-ticket holder and true Posh supporter, I am happy with Lewis in goal. I am happy we have two good keepers to call on.

Poshalot WE will miss his goals from set pieces and he is a top player, but have faith with the rest of the squad. They are more than good enough for this league and will stay up with room to spare.

Ryantunnicliffe is a top talent. He will not let us down.

GNAT OBVIOUSLY many of your readers have never seen Denis Emery play or he would have received more than one vote.

Poshaussie I LOVE the Steve Cooper header v Huddersfield pose. I also love the Paul Culpin and Cardiff fans idea.
