DURING the works, builders will excavate more than 2,000 cubic metres of soil.
Construction workers have already used 1,300 cubic metres of concrete in the foundations and by the time the project has been completed, 500 tonnes of steel will be used to support the building.
The completed school will have 63,000 bricks, 23 cubic metres of mortar and 17,500 litres of paint.
There will also be 2,000 metres of underground drainage piping fitted by the time the pupils start lessons in September.
