Help set police priorities at new year panel meeting
RESIDENTS are being urged to attend a neighbourhood meeting to help set police priorities in the new year.
The Peterborough South East Neighbourhood police panel meeting will take place at Mace Road Church Hall, in Mace Road, Stanground, Peterborough on Tuesday, January 10.
The meeting will allow residents from the Hamptons, as well as Stanground, Woodston and Fletton areas to set policing priorities for the next three months in the area.
Residents will also hear about crime statistics in the neighbourhoods and find out about any progress police have made on the current priorities, set at the previous neighbourhood panel meeting in October.
The three priorities set at the last meeting all related to the Woodston area of the city and it is hoped more Hampton residents will attend the next meeting to raise their crime and anti-social behaviour issues with officers.
Along with setting the priorities for the area, residents will be able to raise any concerns they think police should know about in the area and get crime prevention tips from officers attending the meeting.
Dates for street surgeries taking place in the Hamptons in the new year will also be advertised at the meeting, as they have not been confirmed.
