Cel­e­bra­tions af­ter diploma suc­cess

TWO mem­bers of staff from two dif­fer­ent funeral homes in the Peter­bor­ough area are cel­e­brat­ing af­ter suc­cess­fully com­plet­ing a pro­fes­sional qual­i­fi­ca­tion.

Naomi Meadows and Mark Green have re­ceived their cer­tifi­cates for suc­cess­fully gain­ing di­plo­mas in Funeral Di­rect­ing from the National As­so­ci­a­tion of Funeral Di­rec­tors.

The duo work for Anglia Co­op­er­a­tive Fu­ner­als ser­vice. Ms Meadows is based with Watkins and Stafford Funeral Ser­vice, in Fitzwilliam Street, Peter­bor­ough.

Mr Green works as the branch man­ager at HE Bull and Son Funeral Di­rec­tors, which is based in In­hams Road, Whit­tle­sey.

They were put for­ward for the train­ing and worked to gain the diploma as part of the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s com­mit­ment to staff de­vel­op­ment as well as its aim to pro­vide a good qual­ity ser­vice to the pub­lic.

Anglia Co-op­er­a­tive Fu­ner­als’ se­nior branch man­ager Jonathan Groves con­grat­u­lated Ms Meadows and Mr Green on their achieve­ment.

He added: “Naomi and Mark’s suc­cesses are recog­ni­tion of their ex­per­tise as funeral di­rec­tors. It is also a re­as­sur­ance to the pub­lic that our staff are qual­i­fied to give the best pos­si­ble ser­vice.”
