The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - News -

CHILDREN can learn about stargazing, Indian or Chinese cookery, DIY with dad and lots more, thanks to City College Peterborough.

The college has launched its new family learning programme for 2012 with some exciting new programmes for youngsters, with the support from an adult or carer, to choose from.

The college’s market development manager, Jackie Hall, said “Learning with a youngster can be great fun. We have designed a range of short taster courses for people from which to choose.

“Activities include Rotten Romans, Pharoahs and Pyramids for those who enjoy learning about historic events, family pottery where youngsters and adults can get messy with clay, and cupcake creatures or Family IT.

“The sessions and materials are free, you just need each youngster aged between 6 and 16 years to be accompanied by an adult.”
