STAR LETTER

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your Telegraph -

I AM the Inspector responsible for policing in Peterborough on Christmas Day.

My officers attended Mcdonald’s restaurant in Glinton following the article in Saturday’s Evening Telegraph.

The offer of a free bacon roll and drink was really appreciated, and I’d like to say a massive thank-you to the staff and management of Mcdonald’s for coming in to work on Christmas Day to provide this for the local emergency services. THE Green Backyard is exactly the sort of project needed to build communities and platforms for sustainable development.

The council should be backing it wholeheartedly.
